it started with a wedding...

My introduction into the event stationary industry started with my own experiences in it.
For my wedding, I was dubbed the "most organised bride" by my suppliers; I had created my own brand with colours and fonts, I had booked most of my suppliers 11 months in advance, and I was ready for a seamless, stress-free experience...
However, in the industry, no one talks to you until a few months before your wedding! I sat, twiddling my thumbs waiting for things to happen, waiting to get started, but no one else was ready.
When I did start talking to my suppliers, I heard a lot of "no's":
- No, we don't have cardstock that matches your colour scheme;
- No, your font is a paid font, so we won't use it;
- No, I don't think aesthetically that will work;
- No,
There were a couple of elements that I settled on for my pre-wedding stationary, and to this day, it wasn't what I wanted. It didn't reflect me as a person, nor did it reflect what I wanted to achieve with the brand I created for my partner and I.
So I learned to do it myself!
I bought a laser cutter (the least powerful one on the market), bought new accessories for my Cricut, and I created all of my stationary myself. From cardstock menus, to acrylic signage, to plywood gifts to shoes for the bridesmaids! I learned how to meet my own expectations and to put forward my brand in unique and elegantly detailed ways.
And the one comment from my wedding? "This even is you, through and through!"
Today, Allegria's primary focus is to ensure we create the day that YOU want! We want to know who you are and what you want to achieve with your event, and then we work with you to bring it to life!
Any idea you have, we will do our best to recreate, and we'll do it in a way that reflects YOU!
